My second daughter was born in September 2013 by unscheduled C section (nobody had realised she was upside down until after my waters broke!), which was a bit of a shock to the system.
I joined my local gym as soon as I passed my 6 week check and started to ease myself back in. After attending a beginners spin class, I approached the instructor about a PT session.
I've worked with Bianca since, and she's fab. A strong woman who lifts heavy, she understands my goals.
So 2014 was the year I worked from being a size 16 to a 10/12, achieved 120% bodyweight back squat and deadlift (a lifetime PR!) and basically improved my fitness post-pregnancy. I'll dig out some pictures - the before ones are pretty bad!
Here you go - this is me 'running' the Reading Half Marathon in March, with a 'during' picture taken six months later (2.5 stone down).
