I've been seeing a physiotherapist due to an ongoing issue with my left leg, and was aware that my glutes were already bothering me so I decided to take it relatively easy.
After starting inside with a mini-circuit, we went outside to continue warming up with a prowler push and a keg carry. The yoke was still a bit short for me, and I could only manage 100kg again, and I did some 50kg farmers walks.
Here's a video of me flipping a 150kg tyre, using a more shoulder-focused technique.
My log press (video) was much better, so the work I've been doing on overhead strength is obviously helping. I also had a go at axle clean and press.
The mini event was a bit different to last time, with the addition of nominated weight axle deadlifts. I went to 87kg, which was a nice challenge but probably about as far as I was going to get on the day! We also had log press for reps and 3 tyre flips/farmers walk combo.
